Rotary is an organization that is dedicated to "Lending a Hand" to people both around the world and locally. Windward Rotary of Oahu presents The Service Above Self Award each year to a person or couple in the community who has provided outstanding service to others. A banquet is held to honor the recipient and raise funds for the scholarship endowment fund.

For the 2004 banquet, Red Gazelle donated a flash presentation that ran in the background for speakers at the event. It began with an interactive menu that brought up each section as needed. During the dinner, a continuous 30- minute loop of family photographs for the couple honored ran on two large screens.
